Avalon Memorial Day Parade & Ceremony

The Borough of Avalon and the American Legion Post 331 host the annual Memorial Day Parade from 32nd Street and Dune Drive, north to Veterans Plaza. The ceremony at the end of the parade route will include remarks from Mayor Martin Pagliughi and Post Commander Thomas McCullough in addition to the guest speaker, Senior Petty Officer Jesse Green.

Stone Harbor

Stone Harbor Memorial Day Parade & Ceremony
Noon, St. Paul Church to Women’s Civic Club,

Following Avalon’s parade, American Legion Post 331 members will head to Stone Harbor for a noon parade starting at St. Paul Church and proceeding to the parking lot at the Women’s Civic Club. The ceremony will follow the parade.

After the town’s parades and ceremonies, members of the Legion and the public are invited to return to the Legion building for a ceremony led by Stone Harbor Mayor Judith Davies-Dunhour. The open house that follows will include guided tours of the historic Tatham Life Saving Station.
