Christopher P. Bailey has completed the U.S. Navy’s flight school program and on June 13 was designated a Naval Aviator. The son of Jim and Jennifer Bailey of Avalon, he will be stationed in Jacksonville, Fla., as part of Helicopter Maritime Strike Squadron 40, the Airwolves. Bailey will be flying the MH-60R Seahawk, the Navy’s primary anti-submarine and surface warfare helicopter.
