Backpacks are packed, pencils are sharpened, and a new school year is just around the corner. But that doesn’t mean summer reading has to end. There’s still plenty of time to stretch out on the sand, curl up on the porch, or sneak in a few chapters before bedtime with a book you want to read. In the spirit of an Endless Summer, we’ve rounded up some great books to help young readers hold on to that carefree summer feeling, even as the school bell starts ringing.
Ages 3-5
“Waiting Is Not Easy!” By Mo Willems
