Stone Harbor’s iconic Tuesdays at the Tower Concert Series is back! Bring your own beach chair so you can kick back and enjoy the show. From an American Music Celebration to blues, pop, country, and more, this summer’s diverse lineup ensures an exciting new show each week. There will be no concert on Aug. 4 due to National Night Out.

Bring a book and beach chair and join other readers on the beach for a silent book club. There are no assigned books and no discussion required. Readers of all styles are invited to bring whatever format they prefer, whether it’s a novel, eBook, audiobook with headphones, magazine, or comic book, and enjoy an hour of reading time with company. Co-sponsored by the Avalon Free Public Library, the Cape May County Library System Stone Harbor Branch, and the Roasted Beat. In case of inclement weather, the event will be canceled.

Guided by The Wetlands Institute, enjoy five miles of pristine, wide beaches while learning about Avalon’s dunes, one of the only remaining high dune systems on the East Coast. This experience offers a unique opportunity to explore both the scenic landscape and the environmental efforts that help preserve the beaches. Suggested cost of $3 per person.

Put your creative hats on and join Miss Paige for a fun arts and crafts project every Wednesday. New crafts are featured each week, so there is always something new to experience. Some crafts may benefit from assistance from a caregiver. Alternate crafts will be provided for younger patrons. Best for ages 3 and up. Bring your beach chairs and enjoy a Thursday night summer concert series brought to you by the Avalon Free Public Library and the Avalon Recreation Department. The series kicks off on June 25 with Yellow Brick Joel – A Tribute to Elton John and Billy Joel. Avalon’s Thursdays at Surfside concert series runs throughout the summer and features various bands such as Don Jovi, Best of the Eagles, AM Gold Yacht Rock, and much more! Friday nights at Surfside Park are packed with fun for kids all summer long! With character shows, a DJ, dancing, face painting, balloon art, games, and more, the fun never stops. These nights provide a lively atmosphere filled with fun and excitement. There is no show on July 24 due to another event in town.
