The Helen L. Diller Vacation Home for Blind Children provides a unique and enriching summer experience for children and young adults who are blind or visually impaired. Located in Avalon, campers ages 7–20 can enjoy the freedom and joy of a traditional summer camp for one week at no cost to their families.
Campers participate in a wide range of activities including beach days, swimming, arts and crafts, music, sports and social events during their week stay at The Home.
Many campers return year after year, building lasting connections and memories that extend well beyond the summer. Recently launched, the Diller Home also recognizes and awards an annual alumni scholarship to support former campers as they pursue their educational and career goals.
The Helen L. Diller Vacation Home for Blind Children is made possible through the generosity of donors, volunteers, and community supporters who believe every child deserves the opportunity to experience the magic of summer.
