Take part in the 20th annual Cape Designer House Tour, a cherished tradition on Seven Mile Beach. Enjoy a self-guided tour of beautifully designed homes in Avalon and Stone Harbor, and admire the creativity, craftsmanship, and elegance that define coastal living. This is a signature summer event that brings together residents, visitors, and designers while benefiting Cooper University Hospital Cape Regional to ensure great care for our community. Proceeds from this year’s event will support the expansion of infusion services at Cooper University Hospital Cape Regional.
Stephen Sharer Concert

Bring the kids and grandkids to Surfside Park for a free, high-energy concert with youth sensation Stephen Sharer, who has more than 15.3 million subscribers on YouTube. Fans will also have the chance to see and take photos with some of Sharer’s famous vehicles, shop for merchandise, and enjoy kid-friendly snacks and treats from food trucks. Festivities kick off at 7pm and the concert begins at 8pm. As part of the event, Stephen Sharer will also make charitable donations to the Helen L. Diller Vacation Home for Blind Children and Friend in Need.
Festival of Lights Boat Parade

The Yacht Club of Stone Harbor’s Festival of Lights Boat Parade is a must-see and beloved tradition enjoyed by many each year. The theme for 2026’s parade is “U.S. History 250: Class is Now in Session.” The parade will launch at 8pm and will travel along the basins on the Stone Harbor waterways.

An Afternoon with Author Harvey Zendt

Harvey Zendt was among Avalon’s first generation of surfers in the early 1960s. In the late 1970s, he traveled the world and surfed some of the greatest waves. His recent book, “The Gift of Experience: Remarkable Encounters and Misadventures in the Global Pursuit of Waves,” discusses those adventures. In this talk, Zendt will share stories from Avalon’s early surfing days and his travels, including an excerpt from the book.
