There is something special about August on Seven Mile Beach. The excitement of early summer has settled into a familiar rhythm, and as the season begins its slow march toward Labor Day, we are reminded to savor every beach day, sunset, and evening spent with family and friends. It is the perfect time to slow down and appreciate the simple moments that make Seven Mile Beach so special.

Richard Bach’s quote on this month’s cover, “The best way to pay for a lovely moment is to enjoy it,” is a fitting reminder to be present and appreciate these fleeting days of summer. Whether you are here for a week or fortunate enough to call Seven Mile Beach home, I hope you will take a moment to enjoy everything August has to offer.
