deSatnick Real Estate provides comprehensive real estate sales and rental services throughout New Jersey and Pennsylvania. Focused on representing buyers and sellers, its rental division has become an increasingly larger part. Whether someone is renting a home for a week, purchasing their first property, selling a longtime family home, or making a significant real estate investment, the deSatnick team gives them the same level of service, attention, and care.

“My interest in real estate began while I was working at my family’s business, deSatnick’s Window Fashions, and started investing in properties of my own,” says Todd deSatnick. “After a decade with the family business, I decided to pursue real estate full-time in 2003. Three years later, I took another leap and founded my own company. I was looking for personal growth, but I also had a vision of building something that would create opportunities for other people to grow alongside me.”

What began in a basement office on Carpenters Lane in Cape May has grown tremendously over the past 20 years, and now deSatnick Real Estate has five office locations: Cape May, North Wildwood, Lower Township, Philadelphia at the Navy Yard, and now, Stone Harbor.

The Stone Harbor location includes deSatnick, the broker of record and owner; Ashley Peoples, a broker salesperson and COO; and Nikki Smith, a managing broker. It was opened due to an increased presence of clients on Seven Mile Beach.

“It’s been exciting to see how far we’ve come from that basement office, but what I’m most proud of is that the original vision really hasn’t changed,” deSatnick says. “We’ve grown by building relationships, investing in the communities we serve, and creating opportunities for the people on our team to build their own careers.”

Over the years, deSatnick Real Estate and its team have received numerous NJ Realtors Circle of Excellence Sales Awards. Several members have also been recognized for their community service. deSatnick Real Estate emphasizes making a meaningful difference in the communities that have supported them and has worked with NextGen30, Lunch With Lynch, the Dean Randazzo Cancer Foundation, Life Rolls On, The deSatnick Foundation, and other local charities, schools, and youth programs.

“Today, our team has grown to more than 110 agents,” deSatnick says, “but our philosophy remains the same: build meaningful relationships, be present in the communities we serve, and grow without losing the culture that got us here. We’re excited to become part of the Seven Mile Island community and look forward to expanding not only our real estate services, but also our involvement and charitable efforts here for many years to come.”

The deSatnick Real Estate’s Stone Harbor location is open seven days a week from 9am-5pm and can be reached by phone, email, or through its website.

Hot Bagels & More offers fresh bagels, a wide variety of homemade cream-cheese spreads, freshly brewed coffee, lattes, and other beverages. You can also get cold sandwiches, grab-and-go items, and a selection of baked treats including crumb cake, cookies, butter cake, banana bread, and muffins.

The store also offers catering and party platters for all kinds of occasions, including office meetings, pool parties, bridal showers, morning-after wedding brunches, and family gatherings. Its goal is to make it easy for customers to enjoy Hot Bagels & More, whether they are stopping in for breakfast, grabbing something for the beach, or feeding a crowd.

“Hot Bagels & More is truly a family business,” owner Markella Lios says. “My parents opened our first location in Somers Point about 30 years ago after coming to America in pursuit of the American dream. My dad brought the knowledge and passion for the bagel business, while my mom had a strong business background. Together, through an incredible amount of hard work and dedication, they built the foundation of what Hot Bagels & More is today.”

Lios and her siblings grew up in the business, working alongside their parents throughout their childhood and teenage years. They learned early on that success comes from showing up, working hard, taking pride in what you do, and doing things the right way.

“There has been a lot of blood, sweat, and tears behind the growth of this business, but also a tremendous amount of pride and love,” Lios says. “I feel very fortunate to have learned such a strong work ethic from my parents, and those lessons have helped me continue to grow and strengthen the business today.”

Stone Harbor marks Hot Bagels & More’s sixth location.

“We have always loved Stone Harbor and felt it was a natural fit for Hot Bagels & More,” she says. “We saw a need in the community for what we offer, and when the right opportunity came along, we were excited to become part of such a special town. We love the Jersey Shore, the strong sense of community here, and the mix of year-round residents and visitors who make Stone Harbor unique.”

Over Hot Bagels & More’s 30 remarkable years, the business has won the “Best of the Press Press” award from The Press of Atlantic City in the bagel category multiple times. However, Lios notes that it is the recognition from the local community that means the most to her family.

“We are incredibly excited to be part of the Stone Harbor community,” she says. “From the beginning, everyone has been so friendly, supportive, and welcoming, and we are truly grateful for the reception we have received. We are committed to providing quality food and great service, and we will always work hard to give our customers the best experience we can. We also offer catering for gatherings of all sizes and look forward to becoming a part of our customers’ celebrations, traditions, and everyday mornings for many years to come.”

Hot Bagels & More is currently open daily from 6:30am to 2pm.
