Natives of the Argentina port city of Buenos Aires are commonly known as porteños, or “people of the port.” Chef Lucas Manteca is a porteño himself, but when it came time to name his latest culinary venture, the name “El Porteño” felt too masculine for the James Beard Award nominated chef and his wife and business partner Deanna Ebner.

Endless Summer means it’s time to pull on a lightweight sweater, order a hot coffee, and walk the beach with your flip-flops in hand. And there is no better way to celebrate the start of a new season than by exploring some of the new places Seven Mile Beach has to offer. This season, we welcome Hot Bagels & More and deSatnick Real Estate to our community!

And that’s a wrap! Another summer season is in the books. We’ve certainly enjoyed our share of sunny, steamy, spectacular days, but I’ll say what I say every year at this time: September is simply the best.
