Nynoshka Vazquez Suazo

RUTGERS UNIVERSITY
Nynoshka Vazquez Suazo graduated with dean’s list honors from Rutgers University with a degree in journalism and media studies with a certificate in global media. She also double minored in theater and international studies.

The daughter of Juan Vazquez and Rebecca Suazo, she plans to pursue a career in journalism and writing. During her time at Rutgers, Nynoshka was part of the Livingston Theater Company, as well as intramural volleyball and the Rutgers Puerto Rican Student Union.

She is a graduate of Avalon Stone Harbor Schools and Middle Township High School and will spend the summer working on 7 Mile Beach while enjoying some free time with her loved ones.


Isabella DiPasquale

WEST CHESTER UNIVERSITY
Isabella DiPasquale recently graduated from West Chester University with a master’s degree in Community Nutrition. While completing her master’s program online, Bella spent time working at Avalon Stone Harbor Schools for the 2024-25 school year. The daughter of Sam and Megan DiPasquale, Bella will enjoy a summer of working and playing in Avalon before she begins a 10-month internship in August at Shore Medical Center.


Jenna DiPasquale

COASTAL CAROLINA UNIVERSITY
Jenna DiPasquale, the daughter of Sam and Megan DiPasquale, graduated from Coastal Carolina University with a degree in business administration. Jenna and her family are longtime Avalon residents. Jenna enjoyed her last year of school in Paris, doing a study abroad program. She will be home for the summer, working locally, while she decides on what her next adventure will be.


Thomas James Bailey

TOWNSON UNIVERSITY’S HONORS COLLEGE
Thomas James Bailey, the son of Jim and Jennifer Bailey of Avalon, graduated from Towson University’s Honors College where he earned a degree in computer science with a concentration in software engineering. After traveling to Europe in June, you can find him working behind the grill at 29th Street Deli or surfing in Avalon this summer.


Ava Rusko

MIDDLE TOWNSHIP HIGH SCHOOL
Ava Rusko is set to graduate in late June from Middle Township High School. She is the daughter of Lewis and Dawn Rusko of Avalon. While at Middle Township High School, Ava played varsity tennis and golf and was a team captain in both sports. She is also a member of the National Honor Society and secretary of her 2025 class. During the summer, Ava plans to keep a busy schedule of working at Pete Smith’s Surf Shop, going to the beach, and hanging out with her high school friends. In the early fall, she will attend Coastal Carolina University to major in early childhood education and minor in psychology.


Fiona Gale

MIDDLE TOWNSHIP HIGH SCHOOL
Fiona Gale will graduate in June from Middle Township High School ranked fourth in her class. She is the daughter of Harry Gale and Jill Kates. As a high honors student with a passion for protecting the environment, Fiona was also named a 2025 NJ Governor’s STEM Scholar. Throughout her time at MTHS, she was a varsity swimmer, ran on the track team, and tennis player who posted more than 50 career wins. Fiona is also president of the National Honor Society and the Interact Club, treasurer of Key Club, and an attorney on the mock trial team. Fiona plans to catch some waves this summer in Avalon and hang out with her friends and family before going away to the University of Virginia and pursuing a degree in environmental science.


Gabrielle Braun

MIDDLE TOWNSHIP HIGH SCHOOL
Gabrielle Braun, the daughter of Tom and Lisa Braun of Avalon Manor, will graduate from Middle Township High School in June. While in high school, Gabrielle was a four-year member of the varsity golf team, played soccer, and enjoyed volunteering at the Cape May County Animal Shelter. Gabrielle was the recipient of the Panthers Choice Award in 2022 in recognition of her exemplary character within the MTHS community. This summer, Gabrielle is excited to work at Union League National Golf Course and spend time with her family and friends before heading to the University of Indiana to study architecture and interior design. Gabrielle is looking forward to being a Hoosier, attending some Big Ten football games, and starting this next chapter in her life.


Neysha Vazquez

MIDDLE TOWNSHIP HIGH SCHOOL
Neysha M. Vazquez will graduate from Middle Township High School this June. While at MTHS, Neysha was involved in the musicals, managed the boys’ soccer team, and played lacrosse. Neysha is also a member of the National Honor Society and was recognized as a two-year Panther Choice recipient for being a role model of character and citizenship at Middle Township High School. This Avalon Elementary School alum plans to spend plenty of time at the beach over the summer before attending West Virginia University to major in criminology. Neysha would like to give a special shout-out to her parents, Juan Vazquez and Rebecca Suazo, for their endless support.


Hannah Murtaugh

MIDDLE TOWNSHIP HIGH SCHOOL
Hannah Murtaugh will be graduating with honors from Middle Township High School in late June. Hannah also took Stockton and Atlantic County Community College (ACCC) courses while in high school and will graduate with an associate’s degree as well as her high school diploma. Hannah is the daughter of John and Renee Murtaugh, and a former graduate of Avalon Stone Harbor Schools, where her mom is the supervisor of curriculum and instruction. At MTHS, Hannah played tennis for three years and was the treasurer of the National Honor Society. Before she heads to Rowan University to major in psychology, Hannah will be traveling to Aruba. She will also be working and soaking up the sun at the beach whenever possible.


Carmen O’Hara

MIDDLE TOWNSHIP HIGH SCHOOL 
Carmen Elle O’Hara is graduating from Middle Township High School in June. She is the daughter of Danielle O’Hara of Cape May Court House and Casey O’Hara of Avalon. Carmen was a four-year varsity girls’ soccer player and a four-year varsity girls’ lacrosse player at MTHS. She was captain of both teams in her senior year. Carmen also passed the 200 career-points milestone in lacrosse. She is being considered for NJ.com’s Girls’ Lacrosse Player of the Year. Carmen is also part of National Honor Society. Following graduation, Carmen plans on working this summer to save money for college at her dad’s restaurant, Uncle Bill’s Pancake House, and her mom’s clothing boutique, Closet Boutique, both in Avalon. And of course, she also plans to enjoy the beach in Avalon with her friends. Carmen will attend James Madison University in the fall and will major in business.


Brenna Bussinger

MIDDLE TOWNSHIP HIGH SCHOOL
Brenna Bussinger is set to graduate from Middle Township High School in June with High Honors. She is the daughter of Keriann and Chris Herdelin of Avalon. At MTHS, Brenna is the captain of both the mock trial and girls’ tennis teams, as well as senior class treasurer. She is also a member of the National Honor Society, Key Club, Math Club, French Club and a Student Ambassador. Brenna excels in tennis; she has posted 50 career wins at No. 1 singles and was named MVP her junior year. Brenna plans to double major in economics and international business & management at Dickinson College in Carlisle, Pa. She will also play tennis and work on Dickinson’s College Farm. Brenna would eventually like to open a farm-to-table restaurant that offers an inclusive menu for all allergies. Over the summer, she will be decorating cakes and prepping food at Isabel’s Bakery as well as serving as a hostess at Stone Harbor Bar & Grill.
